The Office lameness

The Office has been my favorite show for a few years now. My world revolves around Thursday nights. I can't think of a better reward for making it through 24 hours of school on Tuesdays and Thursdays than the excitement of a half hour of The Office on Thursday night. But I have to admit, I have been getting increasingly disappointed over the past few weeks, even months.

I think it all started with Pam. I love that she is happier now, and that she is achieving her dreams, but I think I like the old Pam better. I mean, to me, there is nothing cooler than an amazingly rad chick who kinda doesn't realize how cool she is. I liked that she was a teeny bit insecure because it made her human, we all know that she is adorable and amazing, but she doesn't realize it. Now to me, she isn't as much of a character as she is an actress. I also miss her cute striped shirts with sweaters and her curly hair!

Also, what happened to Dwight's zany antics? He hasn't done something ridiculous for months! That, and all the pranks on Dwight was one of the funniest parts of the show.

Michael's hatred for Toby? Where has it gone? I'm sure Toby appreciates it, but I NEED IT!

It seems like the 'lesser' characters haven't had more than a couple seconds of appearance in the latest episodes. I used to love when something ridiculous would happen and you got to see what Stanley, Creed and Phyllis reveal to the camera about how they feel about it. I don't think I heard Phyllis say one word last week!

Also, Ryan being on drugs? What?

I mean, I am dedicated to The Office. Todd and I go to my family's house every Thursday at 8:50 sharp to watch it because we don't have T.V. We spent one of the last nights of our honeymoon in Hawaii ordering take out and watching an Office re-run from our hotel room. We aren't about to give up on it anytime soon. But am I the only one who is distressed by the recent lameness?

You know you're a newlywed when...

You see hearts in everything! Check out this chip! Also I swear every morning when I wake up our cat Ash leaves a little heart shape at the bottom of his food bowl where he's eaten down to the bottom and the bowl is showing through with all the food around it. It's happened like 2 days in a row-with Todd as my witness. I think he's trying to tell us something-awwww! Precious.

In other news, I LOVE doing photography. It's sooooo fun and I love putting together little packages for people-I think that's one of my favorite parts, which doesn't say much for my passion for photography, but I promise I love that too. I'm just a nerd for scrapbookish stuff. Sorry if this is boring, but I am easily amused I guess.

Date Night

Usually we either watch a movie for date night, or rent a video game, or hang out in the same room doing totally different things for 2 hours and call it date night. But since we've already watched the three good movies that have come out in the past 5 years(am I right???) and exhausted ourselves playing video games, we figured we'd do something different for date night tonight, so we wrote a song together!

The song is about how we both hate each other's favorite genre of food. I LOVE Italian food and Todd hates it because he is lactose intolerant, and Todd loves Asian, and it's my least favorite. But alas, we are married, and we manage to make it work, and that's what the song is all about. After we finished the song we celebrated by eating at Olive Garden-YESSSSSSSSS!

Check out the song
! WARNING: May, definitely be EXTREMELY cheesy!

WOOT

So, I just thought I needed to spread the gospel of this awesome website. It's called woot.com
Me and Todd are totally addicted to it. They sell one rad techy item a day for ridiculously cheap. But the best part is if you click on the link on the right that says shirtwoot, they sell these awesome shirts. They always have a rockin' design and they are only TEN DOLLARS with free shipping! Such a sweet deal. Also sometimes they have days where they sell 2 shirts for $1o OR where you pay like 5 bucks and they send you a random leftover shirt from the warehouse(the size of your choice)! It's so fun! Also, they always have clever names, like this one....Arrrrrrrgyle.
