Our first trip in a long lineup of summer vacations was to see Todd's dad and his wife in San Jose. San Jose, I learned, is a great place to have a kid. There are so many fun things for a little one to do there! There are lots of parks with way more than a swingset and jungle gym. We went to one park that had a train and a carousel!
Luke loves trains so he was really excited (doesn't his expression in this picture just say it all!), really.
Luke's Grandpa loves to spoil him, so of course he had to have a train hat and t-shirt!
It was hard to choose between all the things there were to do. It is so funny how, once you have a baby everything becomes so exciting, because you can't wait for them to experience it. We will definitely have to plan another trip to San Jose soon, so we can do all the other things that we didn't have time for!
We went to Chuck E Cheese one day, and the Santa Cruz Pier another day. Both were so much fun!
At the pier Luke got his caricature drawn.
I think the resemblance is pretty stinkin' close!

FUN! That place looks awesome. California has so much fun stuff for kids, we can never go to all the places we want to take Henry when we visit! Lucky for Luke you guys live in Ca!
